As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be the technical powerhouse behind our mobile release infrastructure, directly implementing the systems that allow our teams to ship with confidence.
- You will develop critical tools and automation to improve app testability, reliability, and the efficiency of the overall release process.
- You will drive the technical implementation of automation initiatives to improve release cycles across platforms such as the App Store, Google Play, and OEM Stores.
- You will enable high app quality by developing advanced tooling, such as automated crash/ANR detection systems.
- You will establish, enforce, and technically architect best practices for mobile release engineering and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- You will implement and leverage quality and observability tools, such as Crashlytics or Firebase, to automate issue detection and triage.
- You will use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby to build internal tools and robust automation.
- You will architect, build, and manage mobile device farms to enable automated testing at scale.
What You Bring In
- Deep technical experience in mobile engineering for iOS and/or Android.
- Proven hands-on expertise in mobile release engineering, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Fastlane, Jenkins, or similar.
- Extensive experience with release train management and advanced branching strategies, such as Gitflow.
- Solid understanding of Android and/or iOS SDKs and modern mobile architectures.
- A strong grasp of App Store and Google Play policy and compliance requirements.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the ability to drive efficient technical workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English for cross-functional collaboration and understanding external partners' policies.
